We are inviting applications for a Sr. Accountant in the manufacturing industry, located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71914, United States. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting weekly and periodic reporting of financial data

• Leading the review process of AR invoices, deposits, payment applications, and supporting documents

• Overseeing the review process of AP vouchers, payments, vendor creation, and supporting documents

• Recommending and implementing necessary internal controls related to AR/AP processes

• Performing AR/AP related period end account reconciliations

• Carrying out weekly reviews of inventory usage

• Conducting quarterly customer credit checks

• Leading the process of 1099 verification and submission

• Holding weekly meetings with direct reports

• Cross-training personnel for redundancy and maintenance of SOPs

• Developing and maintaining KPIs and dashboards related to cash flow

• Managing the hiring, training, and development of staff

• Overseeing the management of production data entry.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accountant role or similar capacity in the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Experience with Month End Close procedures and processes

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software for accounting and financial purposes

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is desirable

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work

• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
