JOB TITLE:      Senior Data Engineer

LOCATION:     680 Blair Mill Road, Horsham, PA 19044

DUTIES:          Design ETL within Data Warehouse and Operational Data Stores that are leveraged across the business to enable data driven decision. Duties include: Informatica PowerCenter development with an emphasis on working with a diverse set of sources and targets, implementing auditing, error trapping/tracking, reusability and re-startablilty, and the ability to troubleshoot and performance tune Informatica mappings, sessions and workflows; develop Informatica PowerExchange CDC Data Mappings and workflows to support real time ETL and Reporting; develop PL/SQL to include execution of a number of queries in one block using single command, provide features to handle exceptions, extensive error checking, and create a PL/SQL unit such as procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and types, which are stored in the database for reuse by applications; lead team design, solutioning, development and support efforts; provide direction and mentor Team members; collaborate with Scrum Teams on day-to-day; provide support to our developers and testers; participate in a rotation for operations support, prod and non-prod; participate in software release and deployment activities; provide scalable solutions for handling large data volumes; develop design specifications, unit test plans, and troubleshoot client issues; and work within an Agile Methodology environment for delivery. Position reports to Horsham, PA location and allows for partial telecommuting.    

REQUIREMENTS:       Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a data engineering/data analysis related occupation. Experience must include the following: Data Warehousing; PL/SQL or T-SQL; ORACLE Exadata, Teradata, or Netezza Appliance DB2/Mainframe, SQL Server databases; ETL tools such as INFORMATICA PowerExchange, PowerCenter, or IDMC; and ETL and Database tuning.
