The National Sales Director is a key leadership position within the Immunology franchise and JBI organization. He/she will be responsible for strategically leading a team of Region Business Directors, District Managers, Key Account Managers and Specialists. This role will have responsibility for the entire Immunology portfolio of products across all channels including physician clinics, IDN’s, academic hospitals, Super Groups, SP’s, ISP’s and other emerging stakeholders.

Position is responsible for:

  • Strategic planning and sales execution

  • Collaborates with cross-functional Immunology Portfolio Solutions marketing and franchise brand team to translate customer insights into actionable strategies and tactics for the portfolio.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Demonstrate a firm grasp of industry trends, understand market conditions and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.

  • Capitalize on opportunities within the dynamic marketplace.

  • Make customer central to all thinking for self and the team.

  • Responsible for developing key performance metrics to monitor and adjust activity for maximum impact.

  • Work with Regional Business Directors (RBD) and key field business partners to develop business plans that will exceed portfolio objectives.

  • Work collaboratively with business partners to develop, communicate and administer sales forecasts, sales incentive plan, MBO’s.

  • Work with Strategic Customer Group to develop customer focused contracting solutions and achieve executional alignment.

  • Partner with franchise NSD’s to ensure aligned objectives to deliver on franchise goals.

  • Deliver business results through alignment with brand strategies and in accordance with Health Care Compliance guidelines.

  • Analyze sales and operations data to monitor sales progress and develop plans to accelerate performance.

  • Analyze metrics of sales organization, including routine assessment of our go-to-market model to ensure we are structured to succeed in the ever-evolving market.

  • Build a culture of high performance and accountability where everyone in feels empowered.

  • Champion positive change.

  • Create an environment where new ideas, alternative strategies and innovative thinking are valued and explored, while remaining compliant to Company standards.

  • Drive mastery of requisite skills (business, selling skills, therapeutic understanding, account management, etc.) of the organization by partnering with Sales Learning and Development and IPS leadership to identify key areas of opportunity for enhanced growth.

  • Provide leadership for field management to ensure the recruitment, retention and development of a diverse pool of talent at all levels.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree (B.A. /B.S. required).

  • Proven track record of success with a minimum of 10 years cross functional experience in key Commercial & People Leadership roles (ex. Sales, marketing, strategic marketing, payer/access experience, CE, etc).

  • Prior experience leading field-based management level teams at a Director level or above is required.

  • Ability to lead, develop, coach and engage high performing, diverse teams is required.

  • Very strong communication skills.

  • Demonstrated high level of commercial capabilities and clear cycles of success in prior commercial roles.

  • Ability to maximize business opportunities and insights.

  • Strong ability to innovate, collaborate and deliver results.

  • Role should augment a versatile career path.

  • Significant travel (approximately 30%-40%) including sales and medical meetings, training and field visits.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $163,000 to $282,900.

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.
