Manager, Integrated Analytics - Lung Portfolio will be responsible for generating, integrating and translating insights and analytics into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive organizational action for the RYBREVANT brand and upcoming launches within this portfolio for the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) Solid Oncology Business Unit.

This position will partner closely with brand or franchise leadership and cross functional partners and serves as an internal consultant to the Sales & Marketing team and senior franchise leaders. This individual plays a leading role in advising and counseling management in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability for business results.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and implementation of analytics and reporting plan. Determine optimal analytical approaches through appropriate data sources. Foster strong business partnerships to develop meaningful project goals and outcomes. Provide strategic guidance to business plans, sales and brand strategies, and new product launch plans/life cycle management. Conduct objective analyses that uncover findings and insights across multiple data sets, to enable organizational decision making and action. Serve as focal point for integrating insights and analytics across the Strategic Insights and Analytics team (forecasting, marketing research, business intelligence, and integrated analytics) for brands and translating into business impact.

  • Ensure seamless integration of analytics from both national and subnational levels across key data sources (prescription, patient, call activity and managed care) to evaluate marketing and sales tactics. Identify and develop key metrics to measure and monitor performance through dashboards. Serve as a champion for the implementation of Commercial Innovation capabilities to drive impact, inclusive of Advanced Analytics, Commercial Deployment Optimization, Field Reporting, and Incentive Compensation Strategy and Design.

  • Champion the development and implementation of analytical approaches and methods that are innovative and examples of best practices. Act with speed, agility and accountability, while demonstrating the leadership to ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects. Apply consulting skills, including consultative listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, translation to value, and oral and written presentation for impact. Apply strength in storytelling and data visualizations in order to deliver effective presentations to senior management. Leverage and manage external partners to support internal efforts, where appropriate.

  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity to stay abreast of emerging healthcare and pharmaceutical industry trends and assess their potential impact on our franchise business strategies. Foster strong learning agility, elevating analytical skills to adopt to new techniques/technology.

  • Take personal accountability for making Credo-based decisions and fostering a Credo-based culture.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced degree (Master’s, MBA) is preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience is required.

  • Experience in market research, business intelligence, marketing, sales, finance, strategic planning, or consulting preferred.

  • Experience with business analytics is strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.

  • Proficiency with SQL is preferred.

  • Proficiency with Tableau is preferred.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical data sources, including Rx, claims, and sales sources, is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in querying claims data is preferred.

  • Oncology Therapeutic Areas experience is preferred.

  • Business/market experience and industry knowledge to influence franchise/brand level decisions and strategies required.

  • Strong project management skills preferred.

  • Experience in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations is required.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must have a high degree of intellectual curiosity.

  • The ability to work collaboratively with marketing teams as well as other cross-functional partners is required.

  • This position will require up to 10% domestic travel.
