Must be able to pass a Mechanical Comprehension Test.The Setup Technician is responsible for CNC setup and ensuring parts meet blueprint and quality standards in a manufacturing environment to make springs. This role works closely with Supervisors, Quality Control and Operators.Responsibilities include but are not limited to those described herein:-Inspect and adjust machinery to specification, according to process.-Realign machine, change tooling, and adjust offsets.-Recognize quality defects and collaborate with team to troubleshoot machine and part issues.-Transfer manufacturing parts from one location to another via walking, ability to go up and down steps, and stand for 8 hours.Preferred Attributes:-Work at a continuous pace and multi-task.-Abide by plant safety policies and procedures.-Team player with positive, flexible attitude and polished communication skills.-Ability to prioritize daily tasks and deadlines.-Dedicated work ethic.
