About the Team
Our team is part of the Employee Technology Experience group and specializes in IT Operational Transformation. We use ServiceNow to create reliable and efficient technology workflows, helping employees concentrate on adding value in every interaction. Specifically, we develop ServiceNow products for the Enterprise Architecture team, aiming to automate the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and streamline digital product releases.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Expertise (30%):
Possess in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow features, modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, CSM, APM, DPR, ITOM), and capabilities to optimize solution design.
Guide development teams through the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Develop and present technical demonstrations (POC) to showcase ServiceNow solution potential.
Solution Design and Architecture (20%):
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Develop scalable and reusable solutions aligned with industry best practices.
Provide guidance on ServiceNow capabilities and recommend optimal solutions.
Integration and Automation (20%):
Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
Implement automation and orchestration workflows to streamline processes.
Team Collaboration and Leadership (10%):
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Collaborative in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.
Documentation and Training (10%):
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions.
Provide training and support to end-users and administrators.
ServiceNow Development and Configuration (10%):
Design and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
Configure and customize core ServiceNow modules such as APM, DPR, ITSM, ITOM, and SecOps.
Develop and maintain business rules, scripts, UI policies, and workflows.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Six+ years of relevant experience
Required Technical Skills/Experience
8+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer AND 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect, with a strong focus on platform development and customization.
Extensive experience with JavaScript, Glide, and other ServiceNow development tools.
Proficiency in ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, and others.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integration using REST, SOAP, and MID servers.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Exposure to and experience with APM, DPR, and UI Builder.
Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
Familiarity with Integrating external tools (Jira, Clarity, version control and testing tools) and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of ServiceNow Mobile and Virtual Agent.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Location Expectation (Hybrid/flexible schedule)
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00 - $172,590.00
