We are inviting applications for the role of a Staff Accountant for client that offers a hybrid schedule. The position is based in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Staff Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing and analyzing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and special projects. Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently

• Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve discrepancies

• Oversee job costing procedures to ensure proper allocation of costs

• Manage payroll procedures to ensure timely and accurate disbursement

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting to help forecast future financial needs

• Utilize strong communication skills to handle any financial inquiries and provide accurate information

• Maintain a detailed understanding of the company's financial operations and procedures

• Collaborate with other team members to achieve company financial goals

• Adhere to all company policies, rules, and regulations to maintain compliance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Solid understanding of Account Reconciliation

• Background in Budgeting processes

• Experience in Budgeting - Forecasting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Proficiency in using accounting software

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
