Description

We are opening a position for a Staff Accountant for one of our clients in the Kaimuki Area. This role primarily involves executing monthly and annual closing and reporting processes as well as daily accounting functions. Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable and Receivables

• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

• Facilitate and complete monthly and year-end closing procedures.

• Prepare monthly and year-end account reconciliations.

• Prepare and post monthly and year-end closing journal entries.

• Assist with financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.

• Assist with preparing corporate reporting requirements.

• Review and process refunds as requested.

Requirements

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP)

• Experience in managing accounts receivable (AR)

• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency in using accounting software

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
