Summary Serves as a Lifeguard Trainee in the Aquatics Department of the Hale Koa Hotel. This position will remain open until filled with a first cutoff date of 28 February 2024 for employment consideration. Additional lists will be pulled after this first cut-off date at the request of the hiring manager. Local candidates will be reviewed first as PCS is not authorized. If determined that area of consideration is to be expanded, all candidates will be considered. Responsibilities This is a training position for a certified Lifeguard. Those hired for this position will be required to complete the lifeguard training to include the acquisition of all certifications (listed below) within 30 days of employment. Those who fail to do so will be released from employment. Lifeguarding certifications include: - Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS); - CPR/AED (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS) - O2 Administration (American Red Cross or installation offered training) Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Must be able to swim. 2. Must be able to participate in the lifeguard certifications.
