Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently in need of compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aides/Certified Caregivers for our facilities in Liliha and Kane'ohe, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Nurse Aide/Certified Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to elderly patients, whether it be in their own homes or residential facilities. Your primary objective will be to assist patients with their daily activities, such as eating, dressing, grooming, and bathing, while ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. In this role, you will not only assist with daily activities but also monitor and accurately document each patient's health, making necessary adjustments to their care plan based on their condition, which is crucial for their overall care. Your responsibilities will include: * Delivering personalized services based on each patient's unique care plan * Assisting elderly patients with daily activities, such as feeding, bed care, and mobility * Monitoring vital signs and meticulously documenting each patient's health status * Maintaining a clean and safe environment to promote the well-being of patients * Providing companionship and emotional support to prevent feelings of loneliness * Accompanying patients to medical appointments and running errands as required * Administering medications as directed * Performing any other assigned duties To be considered for this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and additional education will be considered a plus. A valid certification as a Nurses' Assistant, Nurse Aide, or Certified Caregiver is required, along with previous experience in a healthcare setting, which is preferred. Additionally, you must possess a current or valid HI state driver's license with a safe driving record and have knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and office procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer service abilities, as well as effective communication skills, are required. Being flexible, organized, and able to meet deadlines is also essential. In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a highly competitive salary range of $18 - $25 per hour, with weekly payment.
