As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to seniors, ensuring their overall well-being and assisting them with essential daily activities. This includes assisting them with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Alongside meeting their physical needs, CNAs also provide emotional support and engage them in recreational activities to enhance their quality of life. Maintaining a clean and organized living space is essential for the comfort and safety of the residents, and CNAs play a crucial role in this aspect as well. Responsibilities: * Assist residents with essential daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. * Monitor residents' physical and mental health, promptly reporting any changes to the supervising nurse for appropriate care. * Provide emotional support to residents, actively engaging them in recreational activities and promoting social interaction. * Observe and record residents' vital signs, promptly reporting any abnormalities to the nurse for further evaluation. * Maintain a clean and organized living space for residents, assisting with laundry as needed. * Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure residents' well-being. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for each resident. Requirements: * Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program. * Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CNA in a healthcare or senior care facility. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and healthcare teams. * Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure optimal care coverage. * Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds when assisting residents with mobility. * Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
