Indeed is looking for a highly motivated Indirect Tax Senior Associate to join our growing team. You will assist with all US indirect tax compliance for Indeed’s domestic entities. You are a self-starter who is highly organized, demonstrates exceptional data-driven skills and attention to detail. This role will report directly to the US Indirect Tax Senior Manager.

Who you are

• Assist with the preparation and filing of US indirect tax returns

• Preparation and filing of US personal property tax returns

• Support timely completion of indirect tax audits and examinations

• Interpret and communicate relevant legislative developments to management and other internal partners and departments.

• Develop, document and implement indirect tax process improvements

• Work effectively with third party tax service providers

• Perform special projects as assigned by management

Who we are

• Technical knowledge of state and local sales and use tax laws, regulations and policies

• Experience with tax decision engines (Vertex, Avalara)

• High proficiency in data analysis and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

Education Requirement : Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Austin 80,000 - 106,000 USD per year

NYC Metro Area 86,000 - 112,000 USD per year

US Remote 80,000 - 106,000 USD per year
