We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Billing Clerk in the insurance industry. Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, the successful candidate will handle key billing functions, including data entry, invoicing, and use of accounting software systems. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications and maintaining customer credit records. If interested in this role, please call us at 808-531-8056. Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications using accounting software systems

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records

• Handle data entry tasks related to billing and invoicing processes

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions and reports

• Conduct regular audits of customer credit accounts and take necessary action for delinquent payments

• Process endorsements and collate necessary documents for record-keeping

• Serve as backup receptionist as needed

• Scan, copy, and type documents as needed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Enter invoices into the system and ensure they align with the provided billing information.

Requirements • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role as a Billing Clerk within the Insurance Agents/Brokers industry

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting and Billing Functions

• Experience in handling Receptionist Duties

• Ability to accurately Enter Invoices and manage Billing processes

• Familiarity with Endorsements, Audit processes, and Data Entry

• Skill in Collating, Copying, and Scanning documents

• Typing speed less than 45 WPM

• Experience in Mail Processing.
