Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accountant in the Restaurants & Catering industry, located in HONOLULU, Hawaii. This role involves crucial accounting functions related to the daily financial operations of the organization, with a focus on sales analysis and reporting, account reconciliation, and month-end closing processes. Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing daily sales and cash transactions

• Investigating and resolving any discrepancies in accounts

• Posting journal entries as part of the accounting function

• Responsible for account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records

• Assisting in the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting

• Utilizing accounting software systems to carry out duties efficiently

• Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and auditing processes

• Posting cash receipts and performing cash reconciliations regularly

• Analyzing and reporting on daily cash receipts

• Resolving discrepancies in accounts and conducting research when necessary.

Requirements • Proficiency in utilizing Accounting Software Systems

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with auditing procedures

• Proficiency in Cash Posting and Cash Reconciliations

• Experience in handling Daily Cash Receipts

• Ability in Sales Analysis & Reporting

• Strong skills to Research Discrepancies and Resolve Discrepancies

• Expertise in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in handling Month End Close processes

• Background in the Restaurants & Catering industry preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
