AON Senior Account Executive, Premium, Pro-Rata & Claims in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

What the day will look like

  • Review reinsurance quarterly statement of accounts, premiums and claims from clients to ensure figures are properly registered in system and in accordance with contract terms

  • Monitor reinsurance quarterly statement of accounts status and claim supporting documents from clients

  • Review loss recovery/reinstatement premium calculation and claim supporting documents in accordance with contract terms and provide summary translation if required, follow up claim approval with reinsurers and provide claim update to clients.

  • Manage queries from clients/ reinsurers and respond in timely manner

  • Engaging with both clients and reinsurer markets to understand the needs and improve the operational efficiency

  • Monitor/ liaise with Accounting Processor (Hub) on accounting or processing issues for the work accuracy to ensure no omission and error made

  • Coordinate with credit control team and client managers to resolve SOAs/ accounting issues

  • Support in project enhancement and participate in UAT if required, and other initiatives/duties as assigned by your direct manager

  • Assist managers with ad hoc task if any

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Claims handling experience in reinsurance/ insurance sector preferred.

  • Strong technical skills in MS Excel.

  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)

  • Ability to think strategically and analytically with good problem-solving skill

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Detailed minded, proactive, accurate and well organized
