Description and Requirements

Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with extensive program management experience to lead and oversee a complex, large-scale project and program for the Digital Workplace Solutions Delivery Team within the Lenovo Services & Solutions Group (SSG).   

This role will reside within the AP Project Management Office.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the successful execution of a critical project in accordance with quality standards, while ensuring client satisfaction.  The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining effective communication between the client, internal teams and sub-contracted partners.

*Job Responsibilities *

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

  • Lead project teams through all phases of the projectlifecycle, from initiation to exposure.

  • Monitor project progress and performance;identifyand mitigate project risks, proactively addressissuesandimplementresolution strategies to ensure successful project delivery. 

  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost effectiveness.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.

  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and policies, aligned with PMO Governance and Compliance guidelines. 

  • Monitor program performance and report on progress toexecutivemanagement.

  • Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Facilitate steeringcommitteemeetings

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, or a related field. 

  • Current PMP/Prince/Prince 2 certification (at least one)

  • ProvenITexperience (11+ years), including at least 6 years in project and program management. Customer-facingexperience managing complex IT projects from initiationto closure.

  • Proven experience supporting at least 2 significant sporting or public events.

  • Possess experience in supporting full stack solution project management (including Client, Edge, Cloud, Network, Security and Application).

  • Possess experience in supporting major Hong Kong Government projects as a Project Manager (TCV HKD $3M and above).

  • Good command written English and technical writing, fluent in spoken Cantonese, Mandarin,and English.  

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and team management skills. 

  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.  Self-motivated and proactive. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with diverse and cross-functional teams. 

  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with MS Teams and Dynamics 365 preferred.
