‒ Managing a top line Gross Revenue portfolio more than USD$13m across Facilities Management service

Role Summary:

The position plays a pivotal role to drive sustainable margin growth, commercial governance & effective business partnering with client and account teams to achieve strategic outcomes to deliver the commercial objectives of the ASIA Sparta contract. This is a key business partner role collaborating with in country finance teams across 10 APAC markets, different lines of business & proactive engagement with the client and account leadership. The finance lead is accountable for the commercial & corporate finance governance framework and insight driven analysis to support robust financial controls & performance. Key focus on collaboration across the account team to deliver on joint objectives, such as: financial stewardship & performance, management reporting, contract management, technology deployment, resource planning, commercial business cases and the management of client and business outcomes.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

This is an APAC account leadership role reporting into the Account Alliance Director to deliver on the financial management and performance of the account.

Commercial Finance Business Partnering

• Drive commercial governance framework & resource optimization to support effective and efficient decision making and Change Control process (internal & external).

• SME on the commercial framework and actively engage with country & function leads to ensure they are clear on levers and risks per the MSA contract terms.

• Advise the account on contractual obligations and commercial interpretation of clauses, KPIs, SLAs to achieve financial budget metrics.

• Lead & support financial review meetings with the Client & Business to identify and investigate risks, issues and opportunities and agree on sustainable interventions

• Creates commercially centered scorecards and metrics linked with enterprise strategic objectives & risk management ie gearing ratios

• Advise senior management on decisions pertaining to improving performance, minimizing risk or capturing new opportunities to achieve financial results

• Support & coordinate dedicated account teams for all CBRE corporate finance matters & processes (Budgeting, forecasting, P&L & balance sheet management)

CBRE Corporate Finance Function:

• Lead and implement financial controls & optimization processes across region

• Collaborate & take ownership as one finance team of all accounting & financial matters on the account

• Annual budget process – CBRE corporate finance

• Quarterly and monthly financial forecast process

• Reporting and analysis for variances / gaps against budget with recommended mitigation & improvement plans

• Business case reviews & assessments re resource allocation

• Lead & deliver on CBRE regional and global corporate finance responsibilities as required.

Contractual & Commercial deliverables:

• Client Baseline & Budget – GMP MSA obligations

• Support & drive contract change control process to improve margin conversion & forecast accuracy • Audit check points & compliance in ISC and internal corporate finance internal controls

• Understanding fully contractual obligations and associated KPIs – CBRE & client performance

• Drive continuous performance improvements incl. digital transformation, process efficiency & implementation of controls to drive financial accuracy, optimization & resource efficiency

• Contractual compliance

• Drive account margin growth

• Drive CBRE platform initiatives and growing capabilities within account

Business Partner:

• Financial and commercial advice to the Account leadership team & the clients financial team re GMP performance

• Key client engagement role in Asia

• As finance rep for APAC to interface with account global leadership team (if & when applicable)

• Collaborate with region, sub-region/country account team and platform team

Management:

• Establishes overall departmental priorities and ensures that all deadlines are met.

• Take accountability for the finance team output and ensure the highest standard of delivery

• Drive overall process improvement, ensuring region consistency

Qualification:

• Qualified accountant and member of recognised accounting organisation preferred Experience:

• Expected 10+ years post qualified, managing an integrated FM account

• Experience driving financial performance in a building management context. Knowledge of Facility Management, projects & advisory segments, an advantage.

• Experience of planning and forecasting financial performance within a multi $m organisation

• Demonstrated management & leadership experience in a related environment

• Experience managing a high degree of complexity, bringing together financial, commercial, operational and people considerations, to secure the best outcomes

• International/regional/cross-country or multi-cultural experience

• Experience with contract management an advantage.

• Robust capacity to work under pressure & tight deadlines

• Highly organized to ensure critical contract deadlines are met every month

• Experience of engaging and working remote
