Description

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Homewood Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient appointments, and ensuring the accuracy of patient records. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for healthcare and strong organizational skills.

Hours:

Monday/Wednesday 8:30am-6:00pm

Tuesday/Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm

every other Saturday 5:30am-1:30pm

Off on Friday’s

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients upon arrival and provide excellent customer service.

• Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner.

• Schedule patient appointments, ensuring optimal clinic flow and patient satisfaction.

• Utilize Dentrix Dental Software for managing patient records and scheduling.

• Confirm appointments in advance to minimize no-shows and cancellations.

• Conduct insurance verifications to confirm coverage and inform patients of any out-of-pocket costs.

• Check in patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and updated.

Requirements • Proficiency in Dentrix Dental Software is required for effective management of patient records

• Ability to answer inbound calls professionally and courteously

• Must have experience in handling authorizations, including medical procedures and insurance claims

• Proficient in scheduling appointments and managing calendars to ensure smooth workflow

• Ability to check patients in and out, ensuring all necessary information is collected and recorded

• Experience in insurance verifications is essential to confirm patients' insurance status and coverage

• Must be able to confirm appointments with patients, ensuring they are aware of and prepared for their upcoming visits.
