Manager of Nursing Resources Join Us as a Manager of Nursing Resources! Monday - Friday 40 hours, no weekends! The Manager of Nursing Resources is an instrumental role in the administrative and clinical functions of clinical operations. This role is a role model and partner to the clinical leadership and staff education team for all aspects of nursing resources. As a Manager of Nursing Resources you will: Staff Management: Be an active leader in administrative meetings to process advanced knowledge of staffing resource planning and productivity management concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques. Generate weekly and monthly schedules for clinical staff, ensuring equitable distribution of shifts and adequate coverage for all clinic services. Partners with clinical nurse leadership to forecast high-demand periods and plan accordingly Handle day-to-day scheduling changes, including sick calls and unexpected staffing needs, with minimal disruption to clinic operations. Use scheduling software to track staff availability, preferences, and time-off requests, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Partners with off-shift Administrative House Supervision regarding off-shift schedule changes or needs. Leadership collaboration: Partners with clinical nurse leadership to assist/administer interviews and onboarding during the recruitment and hiring process. Partners with clinical nurse leadership to monitor staff attendance and punctuality. Partners with clinical nurse leadership in quality initiatives related to patient care. Partners with clinical nurse leadership and staff education to organize orientation process and competency completion. Partners with clinical nurse leadership and staff education team regarding just in-time staff education needs. Partners with clinical nurse leadership and staff education to conduct orientation sessions for new clinical hires, explaining the scheduling process and policies. Partners with clinical nurse leadership with processing payroll. Partners with clinical nurse leadership and recruitment regarding staff gaps and recruitment and retention efforts. Clinical Resource Management: Monitors unit supply budget and adherence to supply par levels. Partners with clinical nursing leadership to order supplies needed for patient care. Other clinical resource management duties as assigned. A Manager of Nursing Resources will have: Bachelor\'s degree preferred or associate degree with 5+ years of behavioral health and leadership experience. Nursing licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferred. 5+ years of experience in scheduling management. Previous psychiatric inpatient experience required; child and adolescent inpatient experience preferred. Leadership in staff development and program development experience preferred.
