Overview Baby Bear Hugs is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Parenting Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with families and children, providing guidance and support to promote healthy family dynamics.

Duties:

-Conduct individual meetings, within client homes, to provide education and connections to community resources to strengthen and empower families. -Assist parents in developing effective parenting skills and strategies. -Educate parents on physical and emotional child development. -Implement curriculum based programs that focus on the importance of raising children in a warm, trusting and caring household. -Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress made by families.

Qualifications: -High School Diploma or Equivalent -One year of Experience working with children and families, IE: child care provider, parent, daycare worker, preschool educator -Be proficient in both Spanish and English -Knowledge of child development and willingness to learn about community resources -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism -Writing and computer skills sufficient to communicate with staff and clients -Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
