DIRECT HIRE Opportunity! We are seeking a HVAC Technician to join our Hollywood, FL team! Do you have experience within production operations troubleshooting and repairing chillers, air compressors, and cooling systems? We are looking for you! Our HVAC team is responsible for maintaining and repairing chillers, compressors, and cooling systems within the plant.

salary: $47,840 - $65,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Experience we are looking for:

• Ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance requirements on support equipment which includes chillers, air compressors, air conditioners, cooling tower, refrigeration systems, etc..

• To follow sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

• Troubleshoot equipment and perform mechanical and electrical repairs

• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical operation and listening for problems;

• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.

• Request spare parts as necessary

• Make mechanical adjustments using the correct hand tools.

• Maintains technical knowledge by reviewing technical publications

• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends

Skills

• Chillers (3 years of experience is preferred)

• Air Compressors (3 years of experience is preferred)

• HVAC (3 years of experience is preferred)
