As an NDT Technician you will perform all tasks associated with industrial radiography to include setting up the radiograph exposures and processing the radiograph, reading and interpreting radiographs; and developing techniques and procedures regarding such; is cognizant of all safety aspects of radiography.

Responsibilities:

• Process parts and perform equipment standardization in accordance with written instructions.

• Ensure that the procedures and specifications are met prior to, during and after x-ray examination.

• Conduct tests, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document.

• X-ray testing-exposure and interpretation of images.

• Provide necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level I personnel in the technique/method in which they are certified.

• Calibration and maintenance of equipment.

• Interface with engineering, production and customers.

• Develop written part specific techniques from approved general procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 80 Hours Formal Classroom training for Radiography.

• 40 Hours Formal Classroom training for Digital Radiography (preferred).

• At least 800 hands on hours documented for Radiography.

• Previous Certification to RT Level 2 per NAS410 (or equivalent) preferred.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Basic computer skills required.

Hollister, CA: The hourly range for this position is $25.67 - $47.65.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
