An experienced, creative engineering professional responsible for designing, programing, verifying, and implementing automated test systems for our valves, pumps and sub-systems. The Test Engineer (TE) provides leadership in design and test support activities, including providing test data to validate product specifications and continuous improvement of products and processes. Works in a team-based project environment interacting with mechanical fluidic and applications engineers.

· Designs and develops LabVIEW programs to operate automated test equipment as well as assembly fixture automation.

· Designs and develops test equipment, standard operating procedures, and training, etc. appropriate to the product being produced including test fixture and measurement sensor interface design.

· Deploys test equipment through change control consistent with product life cycle practices.

· Participates in product design, representing testability of our product.

· Develops prototype test tools in development to prove out designs.

· Develops, evaluates, and improves test methods, processes and procedures across the division.

· Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent)

· Five to ten years of related knowledge and experience in the development and commercialization of fluidic and electromechanical test equipment.

· Hands on engineering mindset with good communication skills (written and oral).

· Capable of solving problems and working on issues on the production floor as well as in the engineering lab.

· Demonstrated proficiency in LabVIEW.

· Possesses a solid understanding of software design and lifecycle management.

· Demonstrated understanding of test methodologies, understanding of design for manufacturing and design for test.

· Demonstrated understanding of relevant sensor technology and their interfaces including op amps, sensors, encoders, motor drives, serial buses, microprocessors, and programmable logic with ability to design interfacing circuitry for sensors to DAQ modules.
