Advanced Process Technician Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Process Technician to lead our operations in a state-of-the-art plastic injection molding facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our new injection molding machines and requires a high level of expertise and leadership. The facility is exceptionally clean and equipped with all new plastic injection machines ranging from 125 to 1400 tons. The work environment is designed to support efficiency and safety, providing a comfortable space for all employees to perform their duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead the off-shift operations and execute work orders.

• Determine schedules for the shift and ensure production levels are met.

• Perform start-ups and shutdowns of plastic injection machines, including color changes and troubleshooting.

• Handle material movement using a hi-lo, including moving raw materials to machines and finished products to the shipping area.

• Collaborate with the operations manager for any performance issues.

• Ensure minimal overtime, primarily on Fridays if necessary.

Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of experience as a Process Technician in plastic injection molding.

• Proficiency in starting up and shutting down machines.

• Experience in leading a shift and managing production schedules.

• Valid driver's license for operating a hi-lo.
