Our client is seeking a Controls Technician to join their team. As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for developing & maintaining automated systems, troubleshooting of equipment & machinery and support of installation projects. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controls Technician

Location: Holland, Michigan

Pay Rate: Up to $38.00/hour (will be dependent on experience level)

Key Responsibilities

• Developing, trouble shoot and correcting problems and supervising all aspects of the plant electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.

• Reads, modifies, and troubleshoots PLC programs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred)

• Develop a Maintenance program for control systems, programs and perform maintenance.

Requirements

• Must have strong knowledge of PLC’s (Allen Bradley and Siemens) for troubleshooting.

• Must be able to interpret and design electrical schematics.

• Knowledge of AC and DC motors and variable speed controllers.
