Robert Half Accounts Payable Analyst in Holland, Michigan
Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in Holland, Michigan. As an Accounts Payable Analyst, your role will be critical in managing the company's accounts payable function, utilizing your QAD and manufacturing finance expertise to streamline processes and support overall financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of vendor invoices, focusing on compliance with company policies related to manufacturing purchases and services.
• Perform regular reconciliations of Accounts Payable accounts, addressing discrepancies related to manufacturing transactions swiftly.
• Facilitate the preparation and processing of payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, taking into account manufacturing-specific payment cycles and vendor terms.
• Maintain meticulous records of all transactions, ensuring accurate documentation, with an emphasis on manufacturing-related expenses.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities in managing accounts payable.
• Leverage your proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QAD software to streamline and manage financial operations.
• Contribute to the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and monthly account reconciliation.
• Verify invoices and ensure their correct coding and approval before processing.
• Proactively manage and resolve any invoice discrepancies. Requirements
• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) functions
• Experience in managing Approved Invoices
• Ability to Code Invoices accurately
• Demonstrated skills in Coding Invoices
• Expertise in Invoice Approvals
• Familiar with handling Payable Invoices
• Experience in preparing Invoices
• Knowledge in dealing with Vendor Invoices
• Ability to process Vendor Invoices
• Skills in verifying Invoices
• Proficiency in Invoice reconciliation
• Familiar with Month End Close process
• Experience in preparing Month-end Journal Entries
• Knowledge in Monthly Account Reconciliation
• Expertise in making Journal Entries
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
