We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public in HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois. This role will involve managing tax and accounting client engagements within a dynamic team setting. The successful candidate will play a significant role in preparing and reviewing complex corporate, individual and trust & estate tax returns, including multi-state and multi-entity returns.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough tax research and provide strategic tax advice to clients

• Lead all phases of accounting engagements, including tax planning and preparation of financial statements, review and compilations

• Develop and foster professional client relationships

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary

• Utilize various accounting software systems, including CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx, to perform accounting functions

• Handle compliance duties and entity formation tasks related to accounting

• Conduct annual income tax provisions and auditing tasks

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for financial management and reporting

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.

• Familiarity with CaseWare is essential.

• Knowledge and understanding of CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax is needed.

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions is a prerequisite.

• Experience in calculating Annual Income Tax Provision is preferred.

• Auditing skills are crucial.

• Compliance knowledge and expertise is required.

• Familiarity with Entity Formation is beneficial.
