Welcome to Beverages You will be part of a business unit within Global Marketing, a dynamic and international group of business developers and marketeers. Based in Denmark and Switzerland, our diverse team combines commercial and scientific expertise, driven by a shared goal to revolutionize the beverage industry. We work across a wide range of biosolutions, from enzymes to yeast and bacteria, serving various sectors including beers, wines, juices and other non-alcoholic drinks. In this role, you’ll make an impact… …by driving innovation and commercial deployment of our beverages portfolio. As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be on developing a strong portfolio for the coffee, juice, and wine segments, with a particular emphasis on coffee. By converting consumer trends and customer needs into compelling value propositions, you will support our innovation efforts and identify emerging trends that align with our growth plans.

In addition, some of your key tasks will include: • Developing business cases to support the financial attractiveness of innovation investments. • Leading the commercial deployment of Novonesis’ portfolio in coffee, juice and wine. • Converting consumer insights into value propositions. • Supporting innovation through trend identification and market insights. • Engaging in regular travel to foster customer and stakeholder relationships.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as Applied Research, R&D, and Sales, while also engaging with external stakeholders to understand customer and consumer needs. This collaboration is crucial to aligning our portfolio strategy with market demands.

We expect you to… • Have 5+ years of experience in international business development or marketing, ideally within the food ingredients sector. • Hold an M.Sc. in Marketing, Business, or a related technical field. • Be passionate about developing new business areas and have a proven ability to commercialize food solutions. • Be fluent in English.

We are looking for someone who is a natural connector and a proactive doer with the ability to get things done. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both commercial and technical teams are essential.

Travel activity should be expected in order to meet customers, attend trade shows, and engage with internal stakeholders.
