Description

We have partnered with a private management firm on their search for an Accounting Manager with proven treasury experience. This candidate will be responsible for reviewing trust statements, preparing annual budgets, monitoring daily cash flow, processing rental payments, managing the month end close process, performing general ledger analysis, and completing account reconciliations. We are looking for an Accounting Manager with a solid financial analysis skillset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong understanding of GAAP standards, and the capacity to multi-task while meeting crucial deadlines.

· Maintain general ledger accounts

· Cash Management

· Account Reconciliation

· Manage month-end/year-end audits

· Process 1099 filings

· Monitor daily cash liquidity

· Process agent commissions/referral checks

· Account Analysis

· Spreadsheet Maintenance

· Prepare financial statements/reports

Requirements

The ideal Accounting Manager must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Accounting Manager role include and are not limited to:

· 5+ years of experience, with 3 years in a leadership role

· MS Dynamics Great Plains preferred

· Financial services/Real Estate industry preferred

· Strong tax compliance knowledge
