We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Western suburbs, within the CPA industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a successful migration of client data from QuickBooks to Thomson-Reuters Accounting CS client accounting system.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret business requirements for the Thomson-Reuters Accounting CS client accounting system.

• Develop strategies for the successful migration of client data from QuickBooks.

• Facilitate system implementation, ensuring the functionality of the new system.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS Software.

• Maintain documentation of business requirements, system implementation, and data migration processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the migration process.

• Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders, providing insights and solutions when necessary.

• Continuously monitor the new system after implementation, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.

• Develop and implement training programs for team members to better understand and use the new system.

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology, applying this knowledge to improve system functionality and efficiency.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a CPA firm or similar industry.

• Proficient in creating Business Requirement Documents.

• Experience with Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software is mandatory.

• Must have a proven track record in System Implementation.

• Experience with QuickBooks software is essential.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Must have a strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets.

• Advanced knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques.

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work long hours when required.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.

• Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
