Nike Lead Technical Program Manager in Hilversum, Netherlands

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a top-tier retail technology Program lead that can drive the technology delivery across mono-brand Nike stores in EMEA. The focus will be on our Partner operated mono-brand stores. The role requires a successful background driving complex highly cross functional programs in a fast-paced environment, with high-visibility.


The role will be based out of our Hilversum based European Headquarters


. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate the program objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with the business and technology strategy.

You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of multiple technology foundational and digital experiences with multiple Nike teams, across a breadth of different platform and technologies. Develop, plan and manage programs that provide the best experience for our consumers whilst supporting and improving our business results. Apply project management best practices to ensure delivery against cost, schedule and performance. Be part of the team that builds consumer quality products, enabling business capabilities and objectives thru technology.




To be successful you will need to display both strategic vision as well operational discipline. Bringing to the table proven Senior leadership capabilities and experience across a variety of disciplines, including project management, retail management, store environment, product experience and transformational change capability.
 In this role you will manage the NSP Expansion EMEA Program team, managing the technology deliverables enabling our Nike Stores managed by external partners to operates successfully.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you?
A typical day/week looks like:

Drive, lead and deliver against the EMEA Fleet Expansion strategy and roadmap

Manage the Project teams to deliver the various technology components of the store concepts to be delivered

Stakeholder alignment across Retail and Technology leadership to manage expectations regarding scope and status of the technology components of the EMEA Fleet Expansion

Partner with Nike Technology and Stores teams across Real Estate, Construction, Store Operations and Partner Management to execute the store delivery in the EMEA marketplace

Partner with the Business and Technical product management community to understand and coordinate product readiness delivery timelines

Connect with the EMEA store concept team to align on the technology components needed in support of future store concepts

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role you will partner with Technology Product, Engineering, Architecture and Infrastructure teams. Stores Leadership, Store Developement team, Senior Field team, and functional leadership in Partner Management, Design, Real Estate, Construction, Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketing and Digital teams.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10 or more years of experience in Information Technology(IT) with multi year experience in a Fashion Retail stores environment

  • 5 to 7 years in multiple roles with increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs

  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams

  • Demonstrated experience in managing “upward” among senior leadership

  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate the program objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with the business strategy.

  • A high degree of political sensitivity, astuteness and the ability to use the informal power structure of the organization to achieve program success and overcome obstacles.

  • A high level of empathy and the ability to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of different personalities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and “sell” the program goals and objectives to the business, as well as technical leadership.

  • Strong business acumen, including industry- and domain-specific knowledge of the organization and its business units. Familiarity with industry trends and innovation.

  • Influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills.

  • Ability to develop programs and deliver them with financial and resource constraints.

  • Experience with at least one major project/program management methodology(i.e. PMI PMBOK, PRINCE2)

  • Agile mindset and profound knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies both at the squad level as well as Agile at scale, with the focus on driven technology and business agility.

  • Experience across a range of project types.
