How you will make an impact

You will be developing automated semiconductor process equipment that delivers wafer-to-atomic information, enabling our customers to make timely decisions.

What you will do

  • Develop control software for enabling customers to automate their scanning electron microscope process workflows in a semiconductor fabrication environment.

  • Collaborate across time zones with engineering leaders.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from inception to completion including requirements analysis, specification, design, implementation, and testing.

  • Add and improve existing code to meet requirements for flexibility, new features, and maintainability.

  • Support customers by reviewing specifications and providing on-site integration and validation.

  • Mentor junior developers so that they can improve their engineering and professional skills.

How you will get here

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a software engineer in a team environment.

  • Proficiency with Object Oriented Design, State Modeling, and Test Driven Development.

  • Familiarity with modern software development processes such as continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), and development operations (DevOps).

  • Experience with the entire software development lifecycle and agile practices such as scrum.

  • Ability to understand new problem domains, originating sound designs, and implementing well-structured code.

  • Analytical and empirical problem solving and debugging skills.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient with C#, Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, Microsoft .NET, and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).

  • Experience with equipment manufacturing, electron microscopy or semiconductor device fabrication.

  • Development experience with automated capital equipment.
