Mechanical Process Technician

Location: Hillsboro, OR

About the Job:

A Mechanical Process Technician reports directly to the Team Leader and is responsible for the execution of field and office assignments as directed.

Mechanical Technician holds the following responsibilities:

  • Site Inspections and reports

  • Equipment Testing.

  • Submittal Review and preparation of comments

  • Create and execute checklists for the respective equipment and systems as directed by the team leader

  • Collection and tabulation of field data using testing equipment

  • Preparation and writing of reports.

  • Proper use of test equipment including maintenance and cleaning.

  • Assist in executing performance test requirements.

  • Individual Time and Expense management.

  • Any special projects as required

    Key responsibilities:

    Individuals shall demonstrate a thorough understanding of mechanical process systems like HPOFA, OFA, vacuum systems, and compressors and shall have past experience in starting up and commissioning equipment, systems, and metrology.  The individual will work with the System Owner to develop OAT’s, FAT’s, PM’s and training procedures for the systems and be responsible for the project transfer deliverables, audits, FAT and Blue Tag process on the mechanical systems. 

     

    Requirements:

  • Must be a self-starter and capable of working independently or in a team environment.

  •  Must possess a strong desire to learn and participate in the company developmental training program.

  • Trade Professional affiliation a plus.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

  • Strong ability to work in changing environment and adapt to varying working environments.

  • Must be physically fit and capable of lifting at least 30 pounds and climbing ladders

    Preferred Requirements:

    Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
