Your responsibilities will include:

• Essential duties include the locating and designing supports for various piping systems and performing associated calculations using GT STRUDL.

• Will work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design.

• Locating and performing pipe support design, originating related calculations using GT STRUDL in accordance with DoD UFC standards, AISC & ASME B31.3 or applicable codes as applicable.

• Candidate should possess a knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and piping codes.

Your qualifications should include:

• Candidate should be familiar with common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC & ASME B31.3.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3 years of related experience performing pipe support analysis using GT STRUDL and experience in piping design, pipe stress analysis, or structural piping design.

• US citizenship is required per contract requirement.

• Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.

• Good knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards.

• Prior experience using structural analysis programs.
