Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared ISSO to join one of their top federal clients on a large defensive weaponry program. This individual will be joining the Information Services team and will be supporting the Mission of Strategic Deterrence through continuous improvements and innovation responsible for planning and organizing cyber-support activities, determining necessary equipment, training, and supplies for systems implementation and support. This role involves interacting with customers to ensure satisfaction and evaluating the operational readiness of communications equipment, network devices, sensors, intrusion detection systems, and related support equipment.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and perform Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and cyber functions (DoDIN operations).

  • Survey, secure, protect, defend, preserve, design, build, operate, and extend data, networks, net-centric capabilities, and other designated systems.

  • Provide cybersecurity for SAP or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) infrastructure.

Operate within DoD, Air Force, and AFNWC security procedures, operations, and practices.

  • Coordinate requirements with responsible personnel and track completion of required actions.

  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and networks by planning, analyzing, developing, and implementing information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in advising, posturing, preparing, and auditing the organization for unit self-inspection programs, compliance inspections, and accreditations.

  • Coordinate with Information System Security Managers to verify or clarify information pertinent to cybersecurity/Information Assurance procedures.

  • Ensure all IS and COTS/GOTS are properly certified and accredited in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and configuration management policies and practices prior to installing devices/systems.

  • Oversee the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICs) and SCIF facilities.

  • Maintain an operational knowledge base of past, current, and potential future threats.

  • Devise and implement new policies and procedures to prevent or react to security concerns.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or applicable role

  • Experience supporting JWICS

  • TS/SCI Clearance with SAP eligibility

  • Sec+ Certification

  • Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity or other applicable role - Previous experience working in the DoD with an understanding of the DoD environment

  • General understanding of computer networks, hardware, databases, applications, security components, computer operations, and operating system maintenance null
