Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer, who is an exceptionally strong coder to join the Software Engineering team at one of our largest federal clients in the state of Utah in this role, the software engineer will collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop solutions that meet stakeholder needs. Responsibilities include creating and enhancing web applications, backend services, scripts, add-ons, and new software solutions. The engineer will handle full stack development, from data solutions (databases, data integration products) to front-end GUI design, following the latest UI/UX principles.

The development process will follow Agile methodology, with a focus on Scrum. The engineer will participate in daily standups, pair programming, code reviews, and proof of concept activities. They will deploy products using a DevSecOps toolchain, prioritizing security in a fully automated pipeline that executes on every code commit.

Compensation - $54.33/hr. to $70.06/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

Ability to obtain a Clearance

 Bachelors or Advanced Degree (Masters / Ph.D.) in Computer Science.

 3yr+ of Full-Stack Software Development experience

 Exceptionally strong coder in an Agile environment with any of the following:

o C# (Bonus if they write their scripts in Unity)

o ReactJS

o Python

 Current experience with containerized deployments with any of the following:

o Docker

o Kubernetes (K8s)

 Experienced with complex development in relational databases:

o Oracle

o MS SQL

o PostgreSQL

 Secured microservices development supporting REST/JSON based HTML5/JavaScript traffic. Active Clearance.

 Sec+ Certification or any IAT Level 2 equivalent

 Experience with ArcGIS.

 Experience with AWS.

 Experience with Platform One Big Bang, Cloud One, or GovCloud null
