Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Remote Secret Cleared COBOL Developer. The Software Developer will provide software engineering support for the maintenance and enhancement of a legacy system. They will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of screen-sets. Additional duties include maintaining the assembly process in legacy system, used to create the contracts used throughout the Air Force and interfaces needed to exchange data with other systems. The developer will work collaboratively with senior staff, providing programming, data review, and providing innovative solutions for evolving challenges.

Skills and Requirements

Secret

Bachelor's in computer science

CASP or equivalent (can be obtained within 90 days of starting)

2 years of experience developing using OpenText Visual COBOL, OpenText Dialog and Visual Studio

Experience doing design, implement and debug code

Proficiency using Visual COBOL in a mixed language environment VB, VB.NET, and C# null
