BAE Systems Project Manager - ICBM Weapon System Expert in Hill AFB, Utah

Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Project Manager for an exciting opportunity to Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Supply Assurance Management efforts.

The Project Manager will oversee and manage the operational aspects of project(s) and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.The Project Manager will work with a highly skilled team providing critical ICBM Weapons System expertise to ensure sustainment solutions in support of the ICBM Systems Directorate, United States Air Force.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Accountable to Program Manager for tasking objectives and schedule

  • Subject Matter Expert in ICBM weapon system/program support

  • Utilize Technical Orders, Department of Defense, Air Force, Commercial, data systems to provide customers and ISC insightful weapons system analysis, issue/risk identification, and mitigation strategy development.Participates in working groups, review meetings, and executive forums to support analysis and decision making.Reviews and analyzes materiel stock levels/inventory and supporting special projects

  • Become proficient in and Integrate the Ark.Ai vendor and supply data/analysis system provided by BAE Systems and its subcontractor, Govini

  • Develop (and advocate for) solutions to parts availability issues impacting the aging weapon system

  • Review, monitor, and triages weapon system sustainment issues

  • Identify potential risks to the program and recommend actions to address unresolved risks

  • Develop comprehensive reports of weapon system issues/concerns negatively affecting sustainment

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor s degree

  • 5 years of working experience

  • Deep Minuteman III organizational (field)-level maintenance weapon system experience

  • Experience with materiel management at the organizational level

  • Proficiency in the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)

  • Broad understanding of Minuteman III levels of repair philosophies and processes for the military services and of how they impact materiel support and weapon system performance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft productivity suites (i.e., MS Word, EXCEL, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc.)

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong demonstrated leadership and communications skills

  • Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in MMIII or related supply chains

  • Experience in multiple functional MMIII maintenance discipline

  • Experience in missile maintenance management at the wing, Numbered Air Force, or Major Command levels

  • Understanding in DLA, DoD, Air Force, and ISC supply related data and analysis systems (i.e., Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S), Haystack, BLADE, FEDMALL, IMDS, etc.)

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data

  • Understanding of supplier conditions, health and viability

  • Understanding of risk management a risk mitigation strategies

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $92520 - $157320

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
