Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Material Planner to join one of our largest chemical clients in the country. This role is going to be joining a team of eight to support the transactional side of purchase orders. On a day to day basis, you will be assessing material requirements, working closely with production teams to ensure an adequate supply of materials, and minor inventory management. You will develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and assess their performance in terms of quality, cost and timeliness. You will be working with vendors, creating POs, and invoicing via MyBuy to the vendors.

Skills and Requirements

• 2-3 years of material planning or purchasing experience of equipment components that goes into a manufacturing facility

• Experience creating purchase orders, confirming POs, and working with vendors

• Experience managing vendor invoices, a plus would be if you've managed them in OnBase

• Detail oriented - SAP Planning or Analytical experience null
