Job Description

Aramark Destinations at the Kahn Hotel at High Point University is currently seeking a general utility worker for its? Japanese themed restaurant.

Kazoku, meaning ?family? is a unique and entertaining dining experience where chefs skillfully prepare the food in front of you at a 10- seat teppanyaki grill table. Restaurant hours of operation Tuesday ? Sunday, 4:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. Morning and evening shift available.

The utility worker will report directly to the restaurant Lead Chef and/or Sous Chef.

Job Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, pots and pans using dish machine or manually.

• Sweeps and mops the floor.

• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedure after each use.

• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.

• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment.

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in and around all culinary work areas.

• Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.

• 0-1 year custodial or utility work preferred. Will train.

• Attention to detail ? ability to follow instructions and achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks.

• Communication Skills ? ability to effectively listen and communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day or evenings and weekends.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
