Minnesota North College - Hibbing Campus Upward Bound Project Director in Hibbing, Minnesota

Upward Bound Project Director MnSCU Academic Supervisor 1 (MMA) Permanent, Full-Time Minnesota North College is seeking to fill the permanent full-time position of Upward Bound Project Director at the Hibbing Campus. This position is responsible for total planning and implementation of all aspects of the Upward Bound Program (TRIO Upward Bound is funded through the U.S. Dept. of Education, serving eligible participants from three target schools). The position is directly responsible for compliance with Federal regulations, budget management, formal assessment and reporting, outreach activities, and daily operations of the TRIO Upward Bound grant funding the program. The Director of TRIO Upward Bound has accountability to the U.S. Department of Education for the development of comprehensive services to low-income, first-generation students. This Director is responsible for implementation of student services programs that Upward Bound student development, including counseling and advising. The project is currently funded to serve 60 Upward Bound participants (grades 9-12) through academic year interventions and supportive services and through summer programming, thus increasing the likelihood students will matriculate to college and complete a degree. Work Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 4:30 pm (hours may vary based on need) Salary Range: $30.10 - $43.59 hourly / $62,849 - $91,016 annually GREAT BENEFITS PACKAGE!
