What You Drive at DTNA RESUME REQUIRED General Purpose of the Position: Plan, direct, perform and coordinate the training and development activities for AMS Hibbing. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain records, fill out documentation, maintain training matrix Schedule and maintain new and annual training; including annual Train the Trainer, 7-Step Training, Skills Matrix, and SWI Certify all solderers to IPC 610 A Standards. Lead cross-training of employees to other departments to meet goal of 3 wide/3 deep Lead solder program to certify new solderers and ensure development of new skills and maintenance of skills for current solderers. Perform training in multiple aspects of production and skill levels. Evaluate, record and monitor training activities and program effectiveness. Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen. Develop, evaluate, and implement training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, and handouts. Develop training materials Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time. Using computers and computer systems to program, set up functions, enter data, or process information. Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things. Work instruction updates Develop and update training documents, forms, etc. Participate in Contractor and New Hire Orientations Work with other cross-functional groups to gather feedback and make improvements to programs Ability to learn new jobs, tasks, functions and develop training for these functions. Perform cross functional audits across manufacturing. Mentoring of new employees/contractors to ensure training is successful and questions/concerns are addressed. Minimum Requirements: Education: High school diploma/GED; AA Degree Preferred Years of Experience: 2 years Other Qualifications: Must be a IPC 610 A Certified Trainer/Must achieve Certification within first year Willingness to take charge, and offer opinions and direction. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Work hands on with large groups and one-on-one atmosphere. Ability to present information well in front of groups. Must be able to support circuit board inspections across manufacturing Must have or be able to display competency to a level 4 class 3 solder level.
