Fairview Range is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant for our Rehabilitation Services department in Hibbing, MN.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you are responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within the scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Schedule: This position will be working 72-80 hours per two weeks. The shift length is 8 hours on the day shift, with no weekends.

Fairview Range Rehabilitation Services provides comprehensive adult and pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy services as well as adult cardiac and pulmonary rehab. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with the patient and family to provide skilled intervention.

• Implementing plan of care established by supervising physical therapist.

• Communicating with supervising physical therapist regarding recommendations for revision or update of plan of care and/or discharges.

• Providing appropriate education to patient and/or caregivers.

• Completing documentation in a timely manner per department standards.

• Prioritizing task and patient care for effective time management.

Required Qualifications:

• Physical Therapy Assistant registration/licensure in the state of Minnesota, or temporary MN licensure.

• None to 1 year experience.

• Associate's degree in physical therapy.

• BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience.
