A Day in the Life

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Field Market Development Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new market and business opportunities in the field, engaging directly with existing and potential customers (Payers, pharmacies, distributers etc.), driving the initial stages of the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential markets and customer segments.

• Conduct on-site visits to existing and potential customers to understand their needs and present our products/services.

• Identify and research potential markets, customer segments, and business opportunities within the field, collaborating with the marketing and field sales representatives.

• Generate leads through field activities such as attending industry events, networking, and site visits.

• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop effective field strategies, initiatives, and campaigns.

• Provide market feedback and insights from the field to the management team.

• Meet and exceed quarterly and yearly targets for sales, field lead generation and appointments.

Must Haves

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, biomedical engineering, healthcare management, or business administration.

• Several years of experience in the medical device industry, particularly in sales, marketing, or market development roles.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and other stakeholders.

• Analytical skills to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

• Willingness to travel extensively as field market development roles often require regular visits to healthcare facilities.
