The AWS Cloud Intelligence (CI) organization is looking to build and mature products that automate and streamline resources leveraged by AWS Global Sales, to improve efficiency and productivity, accelerate sales motions, drive AWS Cloud Service and Program adoption, and meaningfully improve the bottom-line. Our team seeks a passionate, innovative, and results-oriented leader to build and own products that fundamentally optimizes, automates and streamlines AWS Global Sales (AGS improves sales efficiency and productivity, accelerates sales motions, drives AWS Cloud – Services and Programs adoption and meaningfully improves the bottom-line. Our products enable AGS to obsess over our customers worldwide, and provide proactive and data-driven recommendations as a trusted advisor and business partner, aligned to the customer’s core use-cases, problems, and needs.

We are looking for an individual that thrives in an ambiguous setting, one who can identify customer pain points and needs, define product strategy and roadmap, and develop workback plans to deliver on a committed schedule. This individual should be comfortable working with multiple cross-organizational stakeholders such as UX, engineering, science and legal, to deliver high quality products that are at the intersection of software, data and genAI.

Key job responsibilities

• Engage with AWS Global Sales to understand the pain points and needs in our sales function, define customer personas and journeys, identify critical use cases and opportunities, and brainstorm related product ideas

• Author well-researched and detailed working backwards documents to review product ideas with senior executives, define product vision, strategy and roadmap, and articulate clear product requirements and UX. Explore ways to leverage GenAI in every aspect of the product(s).

• Define product goals and success metrics, manage prioritization, and evaluate trade-offs.

• Be the voice of the customer. Work directly with cross-functional teams to execute on the roadmap, and manage through obstacles/blockers to achieve objectives.

• Own business reporting for senior management review on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Work with data team(s), where necessary.

• Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills, and data analytical capabilities to drive business decisions and measure success.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

  • Knowledge of key customer experience metrics and methodology (e.g., NPS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field

  • Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement

  • Experience in delivering end-to-end customer research studies, including study design, fieldwork (qualitative research moderation and survey execution), analysis, recommendations, reporting and presentation of results to senior leadership

  • Proven track record of shipping complex/high quality, enterprise-scale software products/services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
