This position requires access to customer data. Must be a U.S. citizen; SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsorships for this role.

All internals must have managers approval to transfer.

This position is in SAP NS2s Office of the Chief Operating Officer and works with stakeholders across the entire NS2 organization to: (1) improve business productivity (process definition and adoption) and efficiency; (2) reduce risks and maximize opportunities which contribute to the achievement of business priorities and objectives, including financial and strategic goals; (3) provide greater business transparency and visibility and help facilitate business change agility; and (4) enable lean operations by streamlining, simplifying and standardizing processes and systems. This position will require going into our Herndon, VA office approximately once a week but on some occasions it may require more.

Specific responsibilities include:

Leads complex and cross-functional and cross-organizational projects in support of operational and business performance objectives.

Works on business issues and advanced complex technical projects requiring product, technical, or business knowledge and concepts.

Manages large projects, develops detailed timelines & plans, and creates ad-hoc teams to best meet the needs of the business.

Coordinates the design, planning, and implementation of cross-functional programs, , processes, standards, and procedures.

Acts as a trusted advisor across the business, applying expert knowledge and timely communication to and from senior leadership

Provides neutral & holistic view across business units and drive cross-unit collaboration on initiatives.

Monitors progress and provides regular updates on project, business process, and risk mitigation activities to executive leadership and peers across organizations

Acts as a role model for team members and provides leadership, team, and personal development, coaching, and facilitation across the team responsible

Actively contributes to the enhancement of business and process performance, project management and organizational change

Analyzes and addresses key business issues with consideration to the impact on other parts of the business

Strategy to Execution:

Support development of operations strategy, execution and operational plans necessary to achieve oCOO and NS2 overall strategic objectives

Ensures the alignment of team priorities with broader business objectives and programs in alignment with SAP NS2s strategy

Support business units in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks to achieving business objectives

Recommend and track mitigation of identified risks

Directs the creation of concepts and content for information rollout (newsletter, Corporate Portal content, Wiki-pages)

Provide process guidelines, standards, methods & tools

Develops concepts and processes for continuous improvements of operational procedure, tools, processes, and content

Conducts assessments and reviews to actively contribute to improvement on process performance

Monitor process compliance and compliance to company-wide standards

Performance Management (including KPIs/OKRs)

Supports senior management in defining, measuring, monitoring and evaluating KPIs, OKRs, and/or Success Measurements

Identify and analyze business, operational, and financial data

Ensures metrics are meaningful and support the overall business strategy and departmental objectives

Prioritizes data management and automation projects in alignment with business needs and in coordination with leadership across organizations.

Defines requirements and champions development of an ontology for enterprise data for reporting of business key performance indicators (KPIs) and other supporting metrics and analytics

Experience Required:

7 years business experience

5 Experience in business operations, financial or risk management, or related field

Project management and organizational skills preferred with strong written and verbal communication skills

Education/Requirements:

BS/BA degree required in business-related field

MBA or equivalent is preferred

Compensation Range Transparency : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 127100 - 216000(USD) USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
