Description

Robert Half is in search of a Purchasing Agent for a part time remote opportunity. In this role, you will be integral to our procurement process, working alongside an established team member to ensure the smooth operation of our purchasing activities. This role is a 6 month contract employment opportunity, ideally suited for someone experienced with procurement processes and familiar with ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing purchase orders for various software solutions

• Work in conjunction with existing team members to ensure smooth purchasing operations

• Utilize knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, to efficiently manage procurement processes

• Aid in matching purchase orders to invoices as necessary

• Contribute to the maintenance of the purchasing cadence, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders

• Assist in the management of vendor relationships and contracts

• Collaborate with team members in other time zones, demonstrating flexibility in work hours

• Provide support in managing and resolving any purchasing-related inquiries or issues

• Leverage proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate records and perform data entry tasks

• Take on additional purchasing tasks as needed, demonstrating adaptability and team cooperation.
