THE WORK:

Accenture offers a comprehensive set of consulting and technology services to the tolling industry and is seeking support for its expanding industry business. The industry is capital project intensive and requires specific tolling experience and understanding as well as an industry network to be successful.

The practice is looking for an experienced tolling industry practitioner with extensive experience with tolling operations, technology, capital program exposure and an established tolling industry network to join the current industry leadership team. This resource will be responsible for both current delivery related tasks at current established tolling clients as well as direct ownership of growth at net-new clients and supporting development of new capabilities we are bringing to market while also meeting Accenture business operations functions and tasks. Resource will be capable of and have a proven track record of both working independently and proactively solving problems through resourcefulness and ingenuity. It is anticipated that regular travel will for this position will be required.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery and support of the Accenture Tolling Solution and back-office offering, including management and monitoring of ongoing teams, projects, and business operations

  • Development and cross-selling of new/expansion of existing tolling industry capabilities and offerings in tolling operations, capital project management and delivery, and related business processes

  • Business development expanding into additional areas at existing tolling clients, as well as identification of net-new clients and opportunities, leveraging a pre-existing and established industry network

  • Managing client relationships to understand goals/objectives, support ongoing tolling delivery work, and position/shape future opportunities

  • Lead project demonstrations and presentations, both as part of pursuit efforts as well as industry group involvement and participation

  • Provide strategic direction, guidance, and development of future go-to-market initiatives, including where and how to invest resources for our tolling practice

  • You’ll join a team of experienced engineers, project managers, technologists and construction managers to ensure the long-term viability of public and private infrastructure across diverse industries.

  • You’ll work on project delivery across public service, utilities, transportation and more to help our clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital moves into the core of industry where virtual and physical converge.

  • You’ll help our clients transform their core operations and enable them to pivot to new products & services, experiences, and business & operating models.

  • You’ll focus on digital reinvention of value chains across the capital projects delivery lifecycle for multiple industries.

  • You’ll support the strategies for growth and value creation within Industry X

  • You’ll gain experience with Accenture’s ecosystem partners

  • You’ll work within engagement teams to build the strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and ensure those results will be sustained

  • You’ll gain knowledge in Accenture Delivery Methods to support consistent project delivery based on industry leading practice

  • Break down processes into logical components and construct clear reasoning and analyses

  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

  • Remote: This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.

  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely and working onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

  • Onsite at delivery center: You will be onsite at our delivery center for the majority of your work hours.

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

Job Requirements:

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need:

  • Min of 10 years of tolling industry experience, including both domestic and international experience

  • Min of 10 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including 5+ in a senior position, for both sales and delivery projects

  • Min of 10 years of extensive familiarity with and exposure to all aspects of the tolling industry - roadside, back-office, operations, capital project planning/execution

Bonus points if:

  • Substantial business development experience, specifically in the tolling industry

  • Experience with public sector and governmental agency procurement processes and how to effective navigate and manage the negotiation and sales process

  • Strong presentation and creative skills related to sales and client management

  • Leadership experience with tolling/transportation-related industry groups

  • Ability to effectively work with and supervise remote resources

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
