Job Description:

Business Area Vice President (VP) – Cyber, Law Enforcement, Intel, and Citizenship

Join GDIT’s Intelligence and Homeland Security Division and DHS Sector as the Vice President of a greater than $200M Business Area supporting CISA, ICE, USCIS, FEMA, DHS Headquarters, and the DHS Intelligence & Analysis Directorate. In this role, you’ll have a unique opportunity to support the critical missions of our DHS customers, lead and ensure exceptional performance of our diversified IT and mission portfolio, partner with our Business Development, Capture and CTO teams to grow the business and ensure we retain and attract exceptional talent. As the senior leader owning business outcomes, you will set the strategic direction, aligned with the broader Sector and Division strategies, to ensure we satisfy the demands of our customer, employees, and business. Key responsibilities for this Business Area VP role will include:

  • Leading complex portfolios and setting strategic and operating plans for multiple programs across diverse technical and mission sets.

  • Performing financial management with profit and loss responsibility for the Business Area, meeting or exceeding financial targets

  • Providing and managing customer relationships and technical oversight of the portfolio, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and employee engagement

  • Driving growth – in collaboration with the Sector and Division resources; delivering a strong book-to-bill, re-compete wins, and YoY new business growth and territory expansion.

  • Ensuring alignment with Sector, Division and Company strategy and objectives

Bachelor's Degree in information technology, business, or a related discipline is required. Master's Degree a plus.

  • 15 or more years of experience leading programs or portfolios of similar or greater size

  • In-depth knowledge of the DHS mission and market, especially CISA

  • Ability to coordinate, manage, and supervise the activities related to Business Area operations and strategy

  • Experience driving organic and new business growth, including serving as the lead on large-scale (>$200M) new business pursuits

  • Ability to effectively engage with C-suite leadership

  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment

  • Ability to motivate teams to perform exceptionally over long stretches of time and in challenging situations

  • Ability to communicate exceptionally, including customer and board-level briefings

Other Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong working relationships with current DHS leaders and decision makers

  • Significant proposal preparation and costing/pricing analysis skills

  • Knowledge of enterprise IT strategies and technologies

  • Knowledge of national-scale cyber challenges and solutions, as well as the nation’s cyber defense ecosystem

  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant corporate and government regulations and standards

  • Experience serving the broader DHS market

  • Willingness to travel

  • B.S. in Information Systems or other technical discipline

  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance

  • Prior experience as a DHS Federal Employee a plus

  • DHS EoD a plus

The likely salary range for this position is $252,221 - $327,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
