Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. has multiple openings in Hercules, California for a Field Product Manager II.

DUTIES: Develop multiple marketing campaigns designed to generate sales leads and increase sales revenues on products. Design and manage the implementation of product launches. Design and deliver customer and sales training. Develop website strategies in specific markets. Develop new programs to drive lead generation and awareness at science conferences and trade shows. Create marketing collaterals. Work with product development teams to communicate new product ideas and customer feedback on product portfolio. Track product trends and customer needs via publications, Voice of customer, Voice of sales, SFDC to create programs and materials that generate leads and increase sales. Monitor competitive activities. Design annual marketing plan for assigned products. Encounter and analyze non-routine to moderately complex customer, product and business problems. Develop demand and revenue forecasts for products. Conduct pricing analysis. Resolve problems through application of and interpretation of data, or business plans. Review results at milestones. May Telecommute. 15% domestic travel required.

Compensation: the estimated base salary range for this position is $165,464 - $179,100at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States*. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of an offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.

This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.

  • Minimum reflects our lowest paying locations, and the top end reflects our highest paying locations. The range in your geographic location will vary but will be within the indicated range

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biotechnology management, marketing or a related field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a product management related role. Alternatively, employer will accept a master's degree in biotechnology, Biotechnology Management, Marketing, or a related field of study and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a Product Management related role.

Position requires experience with:

  1. Analyzing market trends, market reports and sales data to develop strategies to drive revenue growth;

  2. Synthesize and interpret information from Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBi, SFDC to create technically precise customer-facing slides and internal training materials

  3. Tool development to curate insights from scientific publications and literature to inform marketing decisions.

  4. Markets within biopharma or diagnostics such as analytical development, process development, QA/QC assays or diagnostic workflows.

  5. Breaking down complex topics in Genomics or Proteomics and presenting them in a clear and concise manner; and

  6. Hands-on experience or knowledge of scientific techniques including Western Blotting, Multiplex assays or PCR.
